Skiing and snowboarding in the Zell am See-Kaprun winter sports area means: 138 kilometres of slopes distributed over three mountains, with the glacier skiing area Kitzsteinhorn up to 3,029 m above sea level.
The Kitzsteinhorn mountain – the everlasting ice is calling you!
The Kitzsteinhorn offers pure skiing fun for ten months of each year: in total, this glacier offers you 41 km of slopes, whereby professionals get their kicks on the spectacular downhill runs and in the funpark. The numerous deep snow slopes make the Kitzsteinhorn the perfect location for freeriding.
Skiing paradise Schmittenhöhe & the Maiskogel family mountain!
On the Schmittenhöhe with its 77 km of slopes, and the Maiskogel with 20 km of slopes, skiers, snowboarders, beginners, and little skiers can try out downhill runs and practice slopes of varying degrees of difficulty. Using the ski bus, you can get into the ski areas free of charge with a valid skiing pass.
Amazing future perspectives!
A gigantic mountain lift project has almost been completed. That means: From the skiing season 2018/2019 onwards, there will be a direct connection running from the Maiskogel to the Kitzsteinhorn, which will thus open up a new skiing area of approximately 70 km of ski slope.
